From the beginning, Urudata has consolidated as a fundamental base the training of its staff in an ordered and planned manner. To carry this out, we work with a business from our group: Empower U / The Computation Academy to help us with this task.

Empower U/ The Computation Academy’s mission is to develop and implement computer science training solutions that adapt themselves best to the clients’ business objectives.

Their goal is to form computer science professionals, contributing the tools to find their technical and creative identity by themselves, and capable of developing solutions in a constantly changing technological world.

Empower U was born in 1993 as Microsoft’s official education center and has been evolving together with Microsoft during these last 14 years, surpassing every partnership category until obtaining in 2006 the "Microsoft Gold Learning Partner which is the highest level an education center can reach.

Furthermore, Empower U is the official education center for Cisco through their association with HTC and ITIL through their association with B-IT and the authorized Computer Associates Center. They offer technical courses in Java and Linux LPI which prepare for the international certifications of Sun and LPI.

Finally it is also the official center for Prometric, Vue and Exin, international companies specializing in international exams for different technological partners.

Without a doubt, the most noteworthy feature Empower U has is their staff of instructors who are certified in various technologies. These instructors are professionals who alternate their academic activity with consulting in the Uruguayan technological market, and in this way our students benefit from a very important added value, which is their abundant experience.

As proof of their excellence, Empower U was recognized by Microsoft in 2006 as Best Educational Center in the Southern Region (Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay and Uruguay) and most recently in July 2007 was awarded in Microsoft’s world even in Denver, Colorado as 2007’s Best Education Partner in Latin America. This supports Empower U even more to continue the path of a renewed education and quality.
